Yellow Brick Road

This song was written specifically as the ending theme for the second season of the anime "Black Clover".

It depicts a path walked together, even amidst uncertainty. Even with detours and difficulties, one can move forward because someone is by their side. And at the end of the journey, one realizes that the strength they were searching for was within themselves all along—a story of hope.

ONE OR EIGHT is also a group that didn't follow a predetermined path, but rather chose and forged their own way. Their journey, where they've transformed their continued progress into strength, resonates with Asta's story. In their music, they don't express flashy victories, but rather a quiet determination to keep moving forward despite the anxieties and loneliness they face.

The "you" in the lyrics refers not only to Asta's teammates but also to the fans (1DERZ) who have walked alongside ONE OR EIGHT. This song is also the group's first attempt at Japanese lyrics, marking a step towards new forms of expression. It's not a song celebrating victory, but rather a song about cherishing the important people by your side and taking another step forward.
