[RYOTA DAIMON]
Born in Tokyo in 1997, he currently lives and works in Tokyo. He has been drawing since childhood and continues to draw to this day. He has established his own unique style, primarily using airbrushes, which he learned to paint himself. His works are strongly influenced by street culture and the cartoons he saw as a child, featuring everyday scenery, original characters, and a blend of realism and street art. Since 2023, he has expanded his range of activities to Taiwan, Korea, and the United States, and was the only Asian artist to exhibit at the group show featuring airbrush artists (Under Pressure, curated by Mister Cartoon) held at CONTROL Gallery/BEYOND THE STREET. In 2024, he held his largest solo exhibition to date at THE PLUG (Tokyo) and participated in the collaborative group show (TIME OF OUR LIVES, curated by Easy Otabor) between ANTHONY GALLERY (Chicago) and The Mass (Tokyo). He is also gaining recognition in the global art scene. He has also received acclaim in the fashion industry, providing designs for HERON PRESTON's debut H2 collection. The original clothing and other items that are sold irregularly on their own website are attracting attention not only in Japan but also overseas.

Inspired by ONE OR EIGHT's spirit of "challenge" and "gathering" from their first mini-album "GATHER," the artwork captures the moment when the eight members are drawn together, centered around "KARMI," a character that appears in ONE OR EIGHT's work. The "floating feeling" created by the gradations and shadows unique to airbrushing, combined with KARMI's mystical presence, combines with ONE OR EIGHT's authentic coolness to create a design that combines street, fantasy, and pop culture in three layers.
