KAMIYA and limited edition capsule release announced!
The pop-up will be available from February 23rd, featuring original artwork by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto.
A capsule collection with KAMIYA, a brand created by Koji Kamiya, has been announced!
The limited edition items will be available for purchase at the first pop-up store, "ONE OR EIGHT Mission_001 "GATHER" Creation Exhibition," which will be open for one week from Monday, February 23rd (national holiday).
The core of this collection is an original illustration by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, a character designer known for works such as "Neon Genesis Evangelion" and "Summer Wars." It was created specifically for this project, featuring ONE OR EIGHT's original character, "Karmi."
The main item, a hoodie, features a dark-toned body with a bold front print, while the back features a collage of fragmented images, combining the mythical nature of the illustration with KAMIYA's grunge feel.
Additionally, there will be a model layered with a checked vest featuring KAMIYA's signature distressed and fringed finish, as well as a model layered with a cutout T-shirt that lets you peek at the art. These layered models will be made to order and will be available to order at the pop-up venue.

"I remember being shocked when I saw the music video for ONE OR EIGHT's "KAWASAKI (with Big Sean)," which I learned about through a friend. The highly polished music and dance, as well as their attitude of continuing to evolve with each release, resonated with me, and I felt it was a natural fit for KAMIYA, a company that is centered around music and culture. This collection combines the processing techniques that KAMIYA has cultivated with the character of "KARMI." We have created items that are simple yet exude our philosophy, incorporating the strength and stance that both parties take in their work into a stripped-down design."
